Please join us on Thursday, May 14 for our next “Virtual Stammtisch with Expert Perspectives.” We will be joined by two Uni-Freiburg alumnae offering medical perspectives on current COVID-19 research.

Dr. Bettina Fries is a nationally recognized physician-scientist in the field of microbiology. She is chief of the the Division of Infectious Diseases at Stony Brook University, and she has also taught specialized courses on infectious diseases for the University College Freiburg. Read her recent tips for COVID-19 in the Washington Post.

Dr. Alexandra Magold is a postdoctoral scientist at the University of Chicago working in the laboratory of Lymphatic and Cancer Bioengineering under Prof. Melody Swartz. Currently, her lab is working on nano-particle based vaccine solutions. 

In addition to the expert perspectives, the Stammtisch will include break-out sessions for networking opportunities and conversation. We hope to see you there!
